In light of growing concerns over the spread of the COVID-19, we’re committed to doing our part to stop the spread of the virus and maintain the health and safety of the community.

What we’re doing:There is currently a shortage of protective face masks. To help keep our community safe, TapIn is making 10,000 medical face masks and 1,200 professional N95 masks available for purchase at cost, for $1.40 and $8.00 respectively.100% of profit, if any, from purchases will be donated to BC Women’s Hospital.

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, there has been a growing demand for food delivery services. We are now providing locally sourced organic fruit and vegetable boxes from Discovery Organics at a break-even price. Your boxes are delivered by our mobile service provider at minimal human contact basis.
We have been in touch directly with all of our service providers to confirm if they have travelled outside of Canada in the last 30 days, specifically vulnerable areas like Italy, Iran, Iraq and China. Service providers are required to report to TapIn if they develop any symptoms, or if they have been in contact with anyone with symptoms.All service providers are increasing the frequency of equipment cleans, and sterilizing all equipment before and after each appointment. Service providers have been advised to self-sanitize often, and avoid public transportation.Upon making appointments, all clients will be asked if they have experienced any symptoms, or been in contact with anyone who has.

What you can do:

As we practice social distancing and avoid public places, in-home services like fitness training, facials, massage and manicures/pedicures can be a great way to keep up your lifestyle, while keeping yourselves, your family and the community safe. That said, extra precautions are important during this critical time.

When using TapIn mobile services, we’re asking you to:

  • Wash your hands before and after each appointment.
  • Ensure your home is clean and surfaces are disinfected.
  • Cough into a tissue, your shirt, or the crease of your elbow.
  • Avoid touching your mouth, nose, or eyes.
